Where are our products made?

The conception and design of the watches are made in France, the cases are manufactured in Asia and the final assembly also takes place in our workshop in France.

Where do our woods come from?

The wood used to make our cases comes from FSC certified forests and comes from the following countries:

  • Maple Wood: Canada
  • Walnut and Oak wood: United States
  • Amaranth Wood: Suriname
  • Black Sandalwood and Rosewood: Argentina
  • Olive wood : Italy
  • Teak wood: Burma
How is a DWYT watch eco-friendly?

Our watches use only wood from FSC forests, which is obtained from the recovery of production scraps. Our design and production process is also designed to use as little material as possible. All of our watches have current certificates and our product testing and analysis goes much further and is much more systematic than standard standards.

To go even further in our approach, we have also created a collection of vegan watches whose straps are made from pineapple and cork fibres.

What does FSC forests certify?

The wood used for the design of our watches comes from scraps mostly from furniture manufacturers. The woods used at the base by the manufacturers we work with have the FSC label, which means that they come from the 5% of the world's forests that respect strict and responsible specifications regarding the notions of preservation and sharing of these forests.

The products

Do your watches contain nickel or lead?

Our products are ROHS certified in order to comply with current regulations, so our watches do not contain nickel, lead, cadium or any other harmful materials.

Are the watches water-resistant?

No, DWYT watches are not waterproof and should not be worn in the shower or while swimming. However, you can wear it for a simple hand wash.

Please note that water damage is not covered by the warranty.

How do I take care of my watchband?

Our leather watch bands are made from real leather, and as with any material, its quality can be altered by external factors such as perspiration or dirt. To care for your bracelet we invite you to apply a leather protective spray, avoid contact with water and remove your watch during physical exertion.

How do I choose the right case size for my wrist?

To be sure of the choice of the size of your case we invite you to consult these headings, more particularly the paragraph entitled "which size of watch to choose?". :

Payment

What payment methods can I use?

You can pay for your purchases by the following different means of payment:

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, CB)
  • Paypal (also possible to pay by American Express via Paypal)
  • Bank transfer
  • Payment by cheque

Concerning the payment by transfer and by cheque, the instructions (IBAN / Address) are indicated to you once the order is validated. Please note that if you choose to pay by bank transfer or cheque, the processing of your order will take longer since we wait for the receipt of payment before sending you the order.

The online payment didn't work, what can I do?

For various reasons it is possible that an online payment may be refused (error in the indication of numbers, server error, refusal of the bank,...). Do not hesitate to contact us by phone (04 28 29 54 79) or by email (contact@dwyt-watch.com) so that we can finalize your order together.

Order

How do I know if my order has been taken into account?

When you place an order on our website, an automatic email is sent to you within minutes of the transaction. Remember to check your junk mail. If you don't receive an email from us, please contact us so that we can check together if your order has been registered.

How long does it take to process my order?

Orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours. This delay can be extended during promotional periods.

I want to cancel my order, how do I do that?

As long as your order has not been processed you can cancel it at any time. To do so, we invite you to contact us quickly by telephone at 04.28.29.54.79 or by e-mail at sav@dwyt-watch.com.

If your order has already been processed and shipped, you will need to return it to us upon receipt for a refund.

What is the delivery time?

Orders are sent with the carrier La Poste. The delivery time for France is 2 working days.

Can I get delivery anywhere in the world?

Yes, DWYT ships all over the world for free.

How can I track the progress of my order?

When your order is processed and entrusted to our carrier, you will automatically receive an email indicating your tracking number and the link to track the delivery.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

I have received my order but I would like to return it without any particular reason, is that possible?

No worries, you have the right to change your mind 😉

You then have a period of 30 days to return your item in its original packaging provided that it has not been worn, soiled or damaged.

Any request for return must be made in advance to our customer service department at sav@dwyt-contact.com.

Is it possible to make an exchange?

Yes, if you wish to exchange one model for another, you will only have to pay the difference if it is more expensive. Otherwise, we will also refund the difference.

What is the procedure for returning a product?

To return a product, you must first send a request to sav@dwyt-watch.com indicating your order number and your name. You will receive in return an email with all the necessary instructions to process your request.

It is essential to contact our services before returning an item in order to receive the correct instructions (especially the address as our company has different branches: workshop, head office, shop...).

What is the repayment term?

Refunds are made within 7 working days of receipt of the package.

Warranty and after-sales service

How long is the warranty period?

All our watches are guaranteed for 2 years.

What does the warranty cover?

The D.W.Y.T. warranty covers only manufacturing defects and mechanical problems. The movement, dial and hands are the only items covered by the warranty.

Conversely, what damage is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover the following damages :

  • repairs carried out by unauthorized personnel.
  • defects related to the case, battery, glass or bracelet
  • consequential damage and damage due to misuse, accidents, natural wear and tear
  • water damage
What is the procedure for sending my watch to the after-sales service?

If your watch is broken or malfunctions, you should follow the following procedure:

    • Take a picture of your watch
    • Send an email to sav@dwyt-watch.com explaining the reasons for the malfunction. It is important to enclose the picture of the watch and your purchase invoice or warranty if you bought it in a store or in a jewelry store. If you bought it on the website, your name or order number is sufficient.
    • You will receive an email indicating the terms of coverage depending on the repair (an estimate will be sent to you if the repair is not covered by the warranty).

All after-sales service requests are only processed by e-mail. 

How long does it take to process the after-sales service?

From the moment we receive your watch, it can take up to 7 working days to repair it.

I sent my watch in for repair and I received a watch with a slightly different wood than the original one. Why is that?

In some cases, it is preferable to replace the entire wooden part of your case, so we are sure to return a watch in perfect working order to you quickly. This is the case, for example, with a broken glass that would tend to weaken the wood, so we prefer to change the case so that you do not encounter any new problems later.

Because the knots in the wood are not the same from one watch to another, each case is unique and that is why the colour of your watch may look slightly different.

In any case, we try to replace it with a watch of the most similar shade as possible.

Where can I find your watch collections outside the website?

DWYT watches are resold in more than 200 jewellers and stores in France. To find your nearest retailer, please consult the list of our points of sale.

Do you have a physical DWYT store?

Yes, we have a shop in Lyon, located in the village of the creators, at 19 rue René Leynaud, 69001 LYON.

Is it possible to have one's watch engraved?

No, it is not possible at the moment to have your watch engraved.
